Western Career College participates in the following federal and state financial aid programs:\

All Western Career College applicants are encouraged to schedule an appointment with the Financial Aid Office prior to enrollment so that eligibility for financial
assistance may be determined. This Practice enables applicants to evaluate their options for tuition financing.

Employment Gap Scholarship
With thousands of Americans losing their jobs during the past year, and with thousands more expected by the end of 2009, Western Career College is awarding the Employment Gap Scholarship to displaced works to help them obtain the education they need to be competitive for jobs that are available or retain a new career.
- Open to all new students enrolled in a certificate or degree program who meet the following criteria:
- Displaced from their job within the last 12 months and demonstrate the greatest financial need
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and any other required financial aid forms.
- Attend Full-time
- Deadline: September 30, 2009
- Award Amount up to $2000
- Number available: 5 per location, Online is not eligible for 2009.
- Verification: Proof of unemployment via official documentation showing an unemployment claim in last 12 months.
- Continued eligibility: Must maintain a 3.0 GPA.
- Other Information:
- The scholarship will be awarded after all federal, state and other financial aid have been determined

Gap Scholarship
Veterans' Benefits
Veterans, and surviving family members of veterans whose deaths or disabilities were service-connected, may be eligible for educational benefits while attending Western Career College.
Forms and information are available at all Veterans' Administration offices. The Financial Aid Office may also be contacted for further information.

The Annual Disclosure provides important information to the campus community regarding emergency response and evacuation procedures, campus security and crime reporting and statistics, drug and alcohol policies, and student rights under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.
